Bad Exorcists
We are pleased to present the Oregon premiere of a new feature comedy made by UO alumnus Kyle Steinbach. Steinbach’s Bad Exorcists had audiences roaring at its world premiere in the Cinequest Film Festival in February, and now Steinbach is coming home to present the film in Straub Hall, just prior to our 9:15 screening of the 6th Annual UO Adrenaline Film Project. Steinbach and several Bad Exorcist crew and cast members participated in the early years of the Adrenaline Film Project.

A Bold Peace
UO Sociology Professor Michael Dreiling will preview as a work-in-progress his revelatory documentary, A Bold Peace, on the impact of Costa Rica’s radical choice of national disarmament.

Films of James Blue: UO and Beyond
Another UO Professor, Daniel Miller, will premiere a new short film on the 50th anniversary March on Washington inspired by filmmaker James Blue‘s The March on April 28. It will be supplemented by newly discovered films from UO Libraries’ James Blue Archive, filmed by Blue at UO in the early ‘50s. Cosponsored with the James and Richard Blue Foundation.

Tall as the Baobab Tree
Jeremy Teicher and Alexi Pappas will present the Eugene premiere of their acclaimed feature filmed in Africa, Tall as the Baobab Tree, supplemented by a brief illustrated presentation on their own Eugene-based work-in-progress, Tracktown.
