Inspired by Macario’s relationship with his family, I wrote and recorded a song which I then digitally analyzed using a piece of software I wrote. The code uses value determined from the music to actively manipulate footage from Macario, fluctuating in frame-rate, image quality, saturation, and digital color correction.

 

 

 

Digital Piñata 

Check out the Digital Piñata created by John Park and Digital Arts students for the Fringe Festival Fiesta. The piece utilizes Kinect to turn the film Macario into an interactive experience.
